Meet Our Managing Director

Robinson & Sons was formally established in 2021 by Stuart Robinson. As the Founder and Managing Director, Stuart prides himself on quality craftsmanship and he built Robinson & Sons on this core principle. He is a Graduate of the University of Montana and a 4th generation Montanan, having been born and raised in Great Falls, spending his early years in the Gallatin Valley. His family, which includes his young son, a 5th generation Montanan, will carry on the way of life we know and love.

Stuart grew up largely in gravel pits and construction yards, following the family enterprises. He has worked in almost all phases of construction, having essentially apprenticing for his father, uncles, cousins, and Grandfathers, all of whom have made Construction in one form of another a “Robinson” way of life from heavy and highway construction to concrete, asphalt, signage, carpentry, electricity, plumbing and the like. He learned his mastery of finish carpentry from his fraternal Grandfather, who was a Master Cabinet Maker from a long line of woodworkers going all the way back to the mid-19th Century. His Great Grandfather, who passed the mastery of precision craftsmanship, a strong work ethic, and hardscrabble determination brought the Robinson line to Montana in 1904.

The Robinson line is strong in Montana, first along the oil-rich high line, to other parts of Montana. Stuart started Robinson & Sons himself with little more than the values and perseverance instilled in him from an early age, and he built the company into what it is today. Robinson & Sons continues a long tradition of quality work, integrity, and perfection that has always been a proud tradition throughout generations.
